Commissioning of AHU# 6 & Siemens Controls System

A&J successfully commissioned the Air Handling Unit (AHU# 6) and the associated Siemens Control System located in the Mechanical Equipment Room 210.

The AHU serves the unclassified areas of the syringe filling operations.

The Variable Frequency Drive on the AHU regulates the fan speed to maintain desired static pressure and airflow in rooms.

Siemens Controls included Modular Building Controller (MBC) that provided central monitoring and control for the distributed Floor Level Network (FLN) devices to view and store data from the HVAC system and the individual rooms.

Temperature, Airflow, Static Pressure, and Humidity Sensors in the space send signal to MBC's Open Processor that modulates valves to maintain pre-set conditions for individual rooms.

Siemens control system also included alarms to notify users for out of pre-set conditions
