Montclair State University, Montclair, NJ, New Art Gallery in Red Hawk Parking Deck

This 7,500 gross sq. ft. space in the Red Hawk Parking Deck was built as a cafeteria. Since the space had not being used for quite a long period, it was decided to convert it to an Art Gallery. This Gallery will serve as a platform to display art work of the students and artists affiliated with the University.

A&J Consulting designed the Mechanical, Electrical distribution, Plumbing, and Fire Protection Systems. Storage of art work and sculptures in the gallery required special design consideration to maintain space humidity and temperature to preserve the artifacts.
