US Embassy in Abuja, NigeriaIn the late 1990’s, Abuja was made the capital city of Nigeria and hence there was a need to build a new US Embassy in Abuja. Starting in October 2000, under the leadership of DMJM Architects and Louis Berger Associates, A&J designed a new US Embassy in Abuja, Nigeria. The 60,000 sq. ft. structure was designed and built per stringent Federal and Building Codes.A&J Consulting provided Mechanical, Plumbing and Fire Protection System design services for this project. An extensive and elaborate study of Federal and Building Codes was conducted in order to design the mechanical system in compliance with said codes. Special confidential considerations were made to make the system self-sufficient. |
